Visions
We want to make Sparta Penang a place of friendship and competition across religions and races. To make it a permanent social meeting spot for youngsters and their families, where they can come and go and use the facilities as it suits them.
Activities:
Football.
The focus is on football for children from 6 to 16 years old.
with at least 2 weekly training sessions and games every weekend.
League matches 2 times a year for U10, U12, U14 and U16 - with 8 teams in each
league.
One-day event/tournament for U6 and U8.
Development of girl football in Penang.
Other activities
Hiking.
Thai boxing and the philosophy behind, fun and powerful fitness training.
Courses in cycling.
How to control your bike without getting hurt in Penang and
the traffic rules.
The reason for starting to use bikes to transport ourselves.
Courses in first help for parents and children from the older group.
Lectures on topics related to sports and health, and sports and society.
Coaches
All Coaches will be evaluated by Rasmus Kaltoft based on their qualification. Payment per training session 1.5 hour + preparation will be 125 RM. If parents are part of the coaching team of Sparta Penang, they will be paid in the same way as the other coaches.
Ownership
Art & Sports for Life, owned by Aida Redza and Rasmus Kaltoft, will host Sparta Penang. The club will probably be changed to an NGO if the project is turning out to be successful.
